Miss Universe pageant nearly kills winner

In case you still thought beauty pageants were safe: Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza of Puerto Rico fainted shortly after being crowned Miss Universe.
Tottering on high, spiky heels, the 5-foot-nine, 18-year-old beauty collapsed in the arms of pageant assistants. She was rushed off the Shrine Auditorium stage while the conference organizer called for help.
Well, I guess it's better than being murdered by your mother.
